Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Before you submit a paper, please make sure to follow the journal manuscript's template. Otherwise, it will be rejected automatically.

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or PDF document file format. However, please note that the copy edit process for the accepted manuscript will be done in .doc or .docx format only.
  • The author has provided all co-authors' names as well as their respective valid email addresses and full postal address in "Step 3. Entering the Submissions' Metadata". Invalid author's and co-authors' names and the e-mail address(es) or different from writing in the manuscript will result in the submission being rejected without a review process. For this requirement, the author should also provide authorship statement signed by all authors as attachment.
  • The author(s) should recommend at least 3 (three) suitable referees candidate who does not have any research cooperation with author(s) within the last three years (please provide names, institution, and email addresses). The Journal will consider carefully any recommended exclusions, but will not always follow the reviewer recommendations.

Please click the Add Discussion Tab with subject List of Reviewers to write your list of recommended referees. If you do not submit referee candidates, the manuscript's process will be delayed. If we do not reach a minimum of two reviewers from different countries within 2 months, we will return your manuscript to you.
  • The author requires to submit:

    (1) a cover letter that includes a brief description of the reported research paper: the novelty, the importance, and the significance of the report; (2) two article files, the first is the article with complete author names and affiliations and the second file is the article without author names and affiliations; (3) authorship statement signed by all authors as attachment; (4) declaration of competing interests; and (5) Graphical abstract. All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
