Plagiarism Policy

The plagiarism policy for the Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences is designed to ensure the originality and integrity of all submitted manuscripts. The journal strictly prohibits any form of plagiarism, including the direct copying of text, ideas, or data without proper attribution. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous similarity check using advanced plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin, to compare them against a comprehensive database of published works. The journal has established a maximum similarity index threshold of 15%, ensuring that the content is substantially original and that any quoted material is appropriately cited.

 

If a manuscript exceeds the 15% similarity index, it will be directly rejected, and the authors will be notified of the decision. The Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences maintains a zero-tolerance policy for significant plagiarism, and no revisions will be requested for manuscripts that fail to meet the required originality standards. The journal also reserves the right to retract published articles if plagiarism is discovered post-publication. By enforcing these guidelines, the journal upholds high ethical standards and ensures the integrity of academic publishing.
