Submissions

–      Register or log in (ORCID iD is strongly encouraged).

–      Prepare your manuscript using the JETS template and read the Author Guidelines.

–      Prepare the required files (see the checklist below).

–      Submit via the "Make a Submission" button and complete all metadata.

–      Track your submission status in your dashboard.

–      The manuscript is original, has not been published, and is not under consideration by another journal.

–      The manuscript fits the Aims and Scope of JETS.

–      The manuscript follows the JETS template and Author Guidelines (format, structure and reference style).

–      Two manuscript files are provided: one with author names and affiliations, and one fully anonymised for peer review.

–      Names, emails and affiliations of all co-authors are entered in the submission metadata and match the manuscript. All co-authors have approved the submission.

–      At least three suitable reviewer candidates are suggested, with no conflict of interest.

–      The following files are attached: cover letter, signed Authorship Statement, Declaration of Competing Interest, and Graphical Abstract.

–      Any use of generative AI tools is disclosed in line with the JETS Generative AI policy.

–      Ethical approval and consent are stated where applicable.

–      Permission has been obtained for any third-party copyrighted material (figures, tables).

–      The authors agree that, if accepted, the article will be published under the CC BY 4.0 licence and that the authors retain copyright.

Authors who publish in the Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences (JETS) retain copyright of their work. Authors are not required to transfer copyright to the journal or to Institut Teknologi Bandung.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant JETS a non-exclusive licence to publish the article, to identify JETS as its original publisher, and to distribute and archive it.

All articles are published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Anyone may copy, distribute, adapt and reuse the work for any purpose, including commercially, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.

Authors may deposit any version of their article (submitted, accepted or published) in institutional, subject or other repositories, and share it at any time, with a link to the published version.

JETS respects the privacy of its authors, reviewers, editors and readers.

–      Data collected: names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and submission and review records, plus basic website usage data.

–      Use: only for managing submissions, peer review, publication, DOI registration and indexing.

–      Sharing: with reviewers and editors as part of peer review, and with service providers such as hosting, Crossref and similarity checking. Data is never sold or used for marketing.

–      Published record: author names, affiliations and corresponding-author emails remain part of the published article.

–      Your rights: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (except for the published record) by contacting jets@itb.ac.id.
