Article Processing Charge

Information on publication charges, payment, refunds, and printed copies for the Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences (JETS).

The Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences (JETS) is a fully open access journal.

To cover part of the cost of publishing articles that are free for everyone to read, authors of accepted articles pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). The rest of the journal's costs are supported by Institut Teknologi Bandung.

When the APC Is Payable

The APC is requested only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

The editorial office sends an invoice with payment instructions.

The article is scheduled for publication once payment has been received.

What the APC Covers

The APC contributes to the following publishing and dissemination activities:

Submission & Peer Review
Management of submission and peer review.
Editorial Production
Editorial checks, copyediting, and typesetting.
DOI & Metadata
DOI registration and metadata deposit with Crossref.
Similarity Checking
Similarity checking as part of the publication workflow.
Hosting & Preservation
Online hosting and long-term preservation of the article.
Dissemination
Dissemination to indexing services.

Refund Policy

Refunds

Non-refundable

The APC is non-refundable once an article has been published, including if the article is later corrected or retracted.

Editorial Independence

Fees and Editorial Decisions

APC does not influence publication decisions

Payment of the APC, or a request for a waiver, has no influence on editorial decisions. Editors are not informed of authors' payment arrangements while a manuscript is under consideration.
