JETS respects authors' ownership of their scholarly work while making published research freely accessible and reusable under an open Creative Commons licence.
The Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences (JETS) follows an author-retained copyright model. Authors retain copyright in their articles and grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish and distribute the work.

Authors who publish in the Journal of Engineering and Technological Sciences (JETS) keep the copyright in their articles.
Authors are not asked to transfer copyright to the journal or to Institut Teknologi Bandung.
When an article is accepted, the authors grant JETS a non-exclusive licence to publish it first, identify itself as the original publisher, assign a DOI, and distribute and archive the article and its metadata.
