Editorial Independence

Decisions on which manuscripts to publish are made by the editors alone, on the basis of scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope and compliance with its ethical policies.

Publisher ITB provides the resources the journal needs but does not take part in decisions on individual manuscripts.
External Parties Funders, sponsors, indexing services and other outside parties do not participate in editorial decisions.

The procedures that protect editorial independence, including how conflicts of interest involving editors are managed, are set out in the JETS Conflicts of Interest policy.
